Research
Dr Kishore has several areas of research interest in the field of stroke medicine, including atrial fibrillation (AF) and pneumonia. He has several related publications in high-indexed peer-reviewed journals in stroke and general medicine, and has presented at national and international conferences. He has participated in international stroke trials and has taken a lead on several systematic reviews and meta-analyses related to acute stroke management and secondary prevention. He has developed antibiotic guidance on pneumonia-complicating stroke and is also leading on improving atrial fibrillation (AF) detection after stroke across the region through a quality improvement project. He has been involved in developing local and national guidelines and his publication on AF detection has been referenced in the Royal College of Physicians (RCP) Stroke Guidelines (2016).
